Reviews

"Great location, close to shopping and restaurants. Helpful - we needed an extra night and they were most accomplishing with the change. Would stay again and recommend it to anyone."

Tracie M on October 2024

"This location was perfect. Our family could easily walk to the City Centre for anything we needed. Lots to do and see. With this location being so close to the city, you also have a lot of foot traffic but this location was worth it."

Melanie Z on August 2024

"Heading to wonderful Norwich for a wedding, we needed a city location for us and our kids that was central enough and spacious enough for us all. 3 kids and two adults fit wonderfully in this lovely property. A perfect location with easily manageable packing, you are right in the centre of historic Norwich, mere metres from the Cathedral and Tombland areas. A great spot and a wonderful stay. We will return if we're ever Norwich-bound."

"We stayed here as a big group for my sister's wedding. My mum stocked kitchen with beer and food on the day of arrival (would recommend her haha). I really liked this place. My other family all stayed at the Maids Head. I enjoyed feeling more like a local in this amazing part of the city. The kids could wander into the shopping district, we could wander to the pub, people could come find us. "

Nicola M on October 2023

"Very nice apartment, very well located to explore Norwich on foot. The apartment is well equipped and description and photos match very well. We liked the organization/equipment in the kitchen very much."

Patrick M on September 2023

"Wow, how do I begin.. This charming, beautiful cottage has become a home away from home. So many memories were made here in the past week! Our daughter got married while we were here. We used the kitchen to create all the bouquets and I baked the wedding cake in your oven and decorated it on the counter. As our daughter now lives in Norwich with her husband, we will be visiting a lot, plan to stay her every time! Orlando FL, USA."

Sara & Dave Malott on June 2023

"Fabulous house with an absolutely perfect location. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and will definitely use this location again on our next trip to Norwich."

James B on March 2023

"A quirky and comfortable cottage in a really great central location. A colourful and charming home away from home in the middle of Norwich. Beautiful!"

Location

One of the most desirable and convenient locations for a city break in the whole of Norwich. Just off the edge of the famous cobbled street of Elm Hill, and only a minute away from popular bars such as St Andrews Brew House and Norwich Playhouse.

Norwich’s Cathedral, completed in 1145, is no more than a minute away on foot and is well worth a visit during your stay. Marvel at the spectacular architecture of this magnificent structure before taking a stroll round the second largest cloister in England. Tours are available on specific days.

The area known as Tombland can be found just prior to the entrance of the Cathedral grounds, featuring an array of bars and restaurants, many with outside seating.

Within a short 5-minute walk guests will find themselves in the hustle and bustle of the city. Take a short walk through the independent shops and cafes that fill The Norwich Lanes, before shopping for a bargain in the 11th century market!

Entertainment can be found in all corners of the city, whether you’re an avid movie buff, keen bowler, or fancy your chances at the retro arcades! We would highly recommend a visit to Cinema City, which offers a more traditional and unique experience for watching the latest films. Cinema City is conveniently only 1-minute away from the property on St Andrews Street.

Food options are aplenty, with street food available on the market for a quick lunch on the go. For evening dining there’s an endless list of restaurants, pubs and cafes available in all directions from the property, so you can simply step out of the front door and see where your feet take you!
