Welcome to Princes Cottage, a medieval townhouse located in Norwich city centre. A stone’s throw from the famous cobbled street of Elm Hill, which featured in the 2007 family fantasy movie Stardust! Princes Cottage is at the heart of the city, close to The Lanes, Norwich market and an abundance of bars, restaurants, and cafes!
Hosting up to a total of six guests, the cottage has been beautifully restored and vibrantly furnished with a bright and aesthetic colour scheme and fun, quirky décor.
The space
Bedrooms:
All three bedrooms, tastefully decorated and with hotel-quality bed linen, are situated on the upper floor. The master bedroom is king-size, with a hanging rail, vanity space, and an ensuite shower room. The second room is a spacious king-size bedroom, while the third is a twin room with two single beds, suitable for both adults and younger family members.
Bathrooms:
The cottage features two upper-floor bathrooms. The family bathroom, adjacent to the main hallway, offers a bath, shower, sink, and toilet. The master bedroom includes an ensuite with a shower, toilet, and sink within the vanity area. Hand towels, bath towels, and hand soap are provided.
Living Space:
The lounge exudes a vibrant and warm ambience, offering ample seating for all guests to unwind. Enjoy entertainment on the TV with Virgin Media channels. The décor pays homage to the artistic flair of Norwich, in close proximity to the nearby art college.
Kitchen and Dining:
The well-equipped kitchen diner provides all the essentials for a family meal, featuring an oven, hob, fridge freezer, and additional appliances like a microwave, kettle, and toaster. A small dining area is also available within the kitchen.
Outside:
Despite lacking a garden, Princes Cottage’s central location offers access to nearby parks and attractions. A one-minute walk takes you to Norwich Cathedral and the Pull’s Ferry trail, while the Lanes and Norwich Market are a short stroll in the opposite direction. Enjoy the convenience of being in one of the city’s sought-after areas, surrounded by popular restaurants and bars. St Andrews Hall, The Playhouse, and Cinema City, all within a short walk, host great shows and family entertainment.
