Location

Norwich is quickly becoming one of the most desirable and popular cities to visit in the UK. Thanks to its rich Medieval history, it's variety of urban green spaces, and of course it's many pubs, restaurants, shops and attractions, the City of Norwich is up there with the best for a trip away!

Known equally for its many shopping options as it is for having a pub for everyday of the year, guests will have options aplenty for both a bargain or a beer! Norwich's famous 11th century market should be near the top of most peoples to do list, with its wide variety of stalls, and host of international food options. From there head through Norwich Lanes to try an afternoon dessert from one of the many cafes, or even just for a browse in one of the independent outlets.

After a busy afternoon of shopping don't miss the opportunity to visit some of the best and most unique riverside public houses in the country, such as the Red Lion. serving a whole range of scrumptious ''pub grub'' dishes. For the keen paddleboarder, you can also drop by ''Norfolk Paddleboarders'' located outside the pub, offering paddleboard hire and lessons. Advanced booking is recommended.

For family entertainment, Norwich offers ample choice of cinemas, bowling alleys, trampoline parks, and even a climbing centre. Castle Quarter (previously known as The Castle Mall) has reinvented itself as a hub of entertainment, featuring retro arcades, crazy golf, virtual reality, and a host of street food eating establishments.

If history and culture is your thing, then you’re almost certainly going to want to pay a visit to Norwich Cathedral. For more than 900 years, the Cathedral spire has towered over this fine old city, and fortunately has a few tales to tell which you can go listen to thanks to the regular tours which take place every day. Entry is free, and visitors are most welcome to explore on their own accord if they would prefer!

For a morning walk, Pulls Ferry Riverside walk is only a short walk away from the property. You can pick up the trail from outside of the ''Compleat Angler'' pub, or the ''Red Lion'' bridge. Whilst still in the city centre, the walk is a peaceful escape from the main hustle and bustle and you'll be able to come across beautiful sights such as swans, ducks, paddleboarders, boats and the historic ''Cow Tower.''
