A fantastic and modern holiday chalet, only a 5-minute walk from Hunstanton Beach and it’s many amusement arcades, cafes, bars and fish and chip shops. Lorna Doone sleeps up to five guests, offering families the perfect seaside escape to the West Norfolk coast, and one dog is welcome prior to agreement – so why not bring your furry friend along to join in the fun too!

Parking is available to the side of the chalet (next to the steps) and to the
rear in the allocated parking space. Please ensure not to park on the front grass
immediately to the front of the chalet.

 

The Space

Based on the ground floor, Lorna Doone can sleep up to five guests across two bedrooms (and a double sofa bed!) It also features a bathroom with full shower cubicle, kitchen/ diner and lounge area.

The chalet offers a spacious, open plan lounge/ diner, complete with ”bar” style dining and modern kitchen fittings. The property is well equipped with appliances and includes a cafetiere.

The lounge also offer’s guests a smart TV, perfect for families to snuggle in with a movie after a busy day at the beach. The property also offers a smart speaker and Wi-Fi too, as well as plenty of board games and books to keep the younger members of the party amused whilst dinner is being prepared. The lounge also features the double sofa bed, with the extra bed linen available upon request.

The bathroom features an electric shower, sink basin, toilet and a vanity cupboard with plenty of storage room.

When it’s time to let your head hit the pillow, Lorna Doone offers two comfy and cosy bedrooms – one with a king size bed and a twin room with two single beds. Complete with cosy linen and extra blankets for those chillier nights, guest’s can be sure to have a restful night’s sleep and wake up feeling refreshed and ready for another day of riding the Waltzers!

Of course, one of the main features Lorna Doone has to offer is its close proximity to Hunstanton Beach, with its extensive amusements, the Sealife Centre, swimming pool, restaurants, cafe’s and pubs and long, sandy beaches. You’ll never be short of entertainment!

Location

Hunstanton is the only seaside resort in West Norfolk, known for its unique striped cliffs and long sandy beaches, perfect for family getaways, exploring rockpools, long dog walks and seaside strolls in the summer sunshine.

Not short of entertainment, Hunstanton's fantastic promenade offers a large array of amusements such as fairground rides, stalls, the sealife centre, crazy golf and a family swimming pool at the Alive Oasis Leisure Centre.

Just a short stroll from the promenade, you'll come across Hunstanton's delightful village life, complete with a whole array of restaurant's, pubs and shops for you to pick and choose from, whether it be shopping for gifts, stocking up on buckets and spades or tucking into some tasty treats!

Hunstanton sits only 30 minutes drive from the historic town of Kings Lynn. It was once one of England’s most important ports and there is still evidence to this day of its 12th century maritime features. The range of cobbled lanes and old merchants’ houses reflect the town's fascinating past. From the medieval centre around King's Lynn Minster to the redeveloped Vancouver shopping centre, the town has a perfect mix of history and modern convenience. An excellent variety of shops, supermarkets, places to eat, ten pin bowling alley, cinema, and theatre - you're bound to have a fantastic day out!

A 30% deposit is due at the time of booking with the remaining balance payable 4 weeks before your arrival.

This property allows one dog with prior agreement.
