Reviews

"A lovely place to stay on the historic and picturesque street really close to the sights and atmosphere of the town. Easy walking but quiet and peaceful, the house was warm and welcoming - we felt really at home. The letting company dealt with us extremely well and professionally - thanks! Would happily go again, as Norfolk had more to offer than we could cover in our short stay!"

"Beautiful period house. Immaculate and clean. Next to the river and centre. Great shops and restaurants. Set on a historical street with lovely quaint houses. Right next to the Cathedral!"

"This property was perfect from start to finish. We were in Kings Lynn for the Who gig at Sandringham. We stayed 3 nights. 2 couples. We decided we would cook in. The kitchen had everything we needed. No items overlooked. Beds were comfy. Bedrooms quiet. Lovely courtyard where we enjoyed sitting and having breakfast. Easy walk into Kings Lynn. Public car park really close. Highly recommended."

"Thank you for a lovely, comfortable stay. Very conveniently located just a stone's throw away from the town centre. It was very clean and tidy. A travel cot and a pair of stair gates were provided for our toddler. Just a 20 minute drive from Sandringham."

"Norfolk Holiday Properties were excellent hosts. Proactive in communication, they went to some lengths to accommodate us at short notice. A great property and highly recommended."

Location

The property is located on historic Nelson Street, which has featured in several film productions such as the critically acclaimed ‘The Personal History of David Copperfield’!

King's Lynn is full to the brim with history. It was once one of England’s most important ports and there is still evidence to this day of its 12th century maritime features. The range of cobbled lanes and old merchants’ houses reflect the town's fascinating past.

There’s so much to do right on your doorstep. Within a few minutes’ walk you can reach the stunning King's Lynn Minster (St Margaret's Church) and beautiful Town Hall. The River Great Ouse is also only minutes away on foot where you will also find, among other establishments, the Marriot’s Warehouse pub and restaurant which serves food and has outdoor seating right by the river!

From the medieval centre around King's Lynn Minster to the redeveloped Vancouver shopping centre, the town has a perfect mix of history and modern convenience. An excellent variety of shops, supermarkets, places to eat, ten pin bowling alley, cinema, and theatre, there is plenty to do in this lovely town.

Norfolk Historic Townhouse is ideally situated for those who want to go a bit further afield too and enjoy the wonderful North Norfolk Coast. Beautiful Norfolk gems such as Thornham and Brancaster are only about a 45 minute drive away and if you are after some seaside fun you can head into Hunstanton which is just 30 minutes’ drive. For a more regal experience, Sandringham Estate, the Queen's Royal retreat is only 18 minutes’ drive from Norfolk Historic Townhouse and a must see!

Whatever it is you decide to do you will have the best of everything whilst staying at Norfolk Historic Townhouse.
