Reviews

"Excellent stay, very remote and peaceful. Good fishing. We did manage to coax a boater to take our baggage to the property, as it is a fair distance from the car park. Would go again."

Keith S on August 2024

"Time and tide is in a lovely position on the end of the line of riverside properties, so feels secluded. The walk from the car park isn’t arduous. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

Additional Information

An allocated parking space is included. The property is a 7 minute walk away along a narrow gravel path running behind the riverside homes. A trolley is available at the property to help with luggage. Due to the nature and width of the footpath the property is not suitable for those with mobility issues.

Please note that the property and garden is situated riverside, and children must be supervised at all times.

This property does not offer Wi-Fi.

Location

Stunning riverside views from your doorstep. The river flows directly by the property, with array of wildlife to be seen, all whilst enjoying your morning coffee. Previous guests have reported spotting otters, kingfisher, marsh harriers, wildfowl, deer and so much more! Keen anglers merely have to take a matter of steps to take part in a spot of morning river fishing.

There are mooring hoops in place directly outside so guests are more than welcome to hire a boat for a few days during their visit. We would recommend ‘Martham boat hire’ or ‘Phoenix Fleet Ltd’.

For local pubs and eateries Bridgestones of Potter, The Lion at Thurn, and the Kings Arms and Ludham are all within a 10–15 minute drive from Repps Staithe. A short drive out to the coast will bring you to Horsey Beach. A great opportunity see some seals... And if you’re really lucky a few baby pups!

You can even hire a river taxi from the parking area to take you the shops and pub in Potter Heigham.
