Woodside House offers so much that venturing out may not be on the cards all that much, especially if you find yourself relaxing in the hot tub! However, should you wish to explore the local area, or the delights of the fantastic city of Norwich there is plenty to do within close proximity.

If you are a keen golfer there are a number of golf courses close to Woodside House, Costessey Park Golf Club is just a 3-minute drive, here you will find a beautifully laid out 18-hole course, the par 5 first is a great start! Just 6-minutes’ drive away there is Bawburgh Golf Course, another fantastic 18-hole golf course which is used for various high-profile competitions. There is also Barnham Broom golf club which is only a 12-minute drive away.

It's not just golf that is in the area as the Norfolk Showground that hosts various events throughout the year is only a 5-minute drive away. Should you want to partake in a little bit of shopping but don't want to go directly into the city you can do so by taking a small 5-minute drive to Longwater Retail Park, here you will find shops such as The Range, Next, Argos, Sports Direct as well as a large Sainsbury's should you need to stock up and fill the cupboards for your break at Woodside House. You can also enjoy a bite to eat whilst you are out, you'll find a Pizza Hut and a few pubs such as the Copper Beach and The Showground Table Table in the area.

Norwich City is only a 15-minute drive from the property, where you’ll find an array of vibrant bars and restaurants. Popular shopping mall, Chantry Place (formerly known as Chapelfield), The Castle Mall are two great options for a bit of retail therapy for all your well known high street outlets. Norwich Lanes offers a selection of independent stores and cafes lining small alleys and streets, which offer unique bargains and a more exclusive shopping range.

Norwich offers one of the greatest markets in the country, located in the heart of the city centre. The famous 11th century market is loved by tourists and locals alike for it’s wide selection of items and food stalls offering cuisine from all around the world!
For culture vultures, Norwich castle and Cathedral are not something to be missed. Loved for their incredible architecture and informative guided tours.

It's safe to say that if it's entertainment you're after Norwich delivers on all fronts, whether it's a show at the Norwich Theatre Royal or a visit to The Playhouse that boasts one of the coolest bar and beer gardens the city has to offer. For movie lovers, we would highly recommend a trip to Cinema City – an olde worlde cinema which offers customers the chance to enjoy an alcoholic beverage with their favourite films. With bowling, arcades and climbing centres, there is no end of things to keep you entertained!
