Brexit driving you mad? Why Norfolk is the perfect holiday escape!

With Brexit on the horizon and the fall of the pound, here’s why a domestic holiday in Norfolk is the perfect getaway.

Whether you’re leave or remain, one thing I am sure we can all agree on is we could all do with a break from Brexit. And where else better to escape than the wonderful rural countryside of Norfolk, or the “irresistible destination” of Norwich as recently described by Vietnam Airlines boss.

With the current tentative nature of the pound’s value, why not explore the U.K for your next holiday and make your vacation a staycation. Britain is filled with a host of hidden gems perfect for a fun filled family holiday, or perhaps a romantic getaway. If you want one place that has something for everyone then look no further.

If you’re already planning for your beach holiday next summer, Sea Palling or Wells-next-the-Sea would be perfect places for a week away, and of course a cheeky cone of chips! Long has been forgotten the joys of a British bank holiday weekend spent on the amusements of Cromer Pier, or the nostalgic joy of an ice cream by the sea. The British beach town holiday is back with a bang, a resurgence of wind breakers and red striped deck chairs, not to mention that overly large grandma hat which has enough shade for half of the beach!

Or, if that Autumn chill is bringing your Christmas Spirit to the surface, why not give yourself something to really get excited about and visit Norwich for a weekend this December. Norwich’s 11th century old market and the famous “lanes” will take you back to the traditional days of Christmas shopping, filled with independent business owners where you’ll find unique gifts found nowhere else in the country!
Enjoy a wintery walk around the festively lit city, through the Christmas light tunnel or there’s even ice skating if you’re feeling a little more active. Round off an evening sat by the fire with a locally brewed ale in one of Norwich’s many wonderful public houses

So, if you’re tired of traveling to the airport, buckling in those tiny plane seats and getting a headache over how little euros you’re receiving for your pounds, why not try looking a little closer to home. Afterall there’s so many positive reasons for holidaying right here
