We know parents will be eager to keep the kids busy this half term, and fortunately there’s an abundance of options across Norfolk. Here’s some of our favourites:
Chantry Place, Saturday 4th February – Saturday 18th February 2023
For the keen young dino hunters amongst us, Chantry Place is the place to be this February Half Term.
Children can pick up a trail map from Langleys in Chantry Place or the Forum and set out on Jurassic expedition around the shopping centre to find eight extraordinary extinct dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures.
Along the way, explorers will learn some fantastic fossil facts and can complete the trail sheet as they go along, which can then be placed in the competition box to be in the chance of winning a £100 H&M voucher and a goody bag (as well as a sticker for completing the trail!)
Lindley Terrace is brand new to our books, sits just outside Norwich city centre and is available to book this February half term. Offering two beautifully cosy double rooms and an extensive library, you’ll sure to be lost in the history of our fine city at this stylish terrace.
Price: FREE to take part.

Various locations across Norfolk between mid- Feb 2023 – March 2023
One of the earliest signs that Spring is on the way is the appearance of these small, dainty perennials – and Norfolk is certainly the place to be for some of the most beautiful snowdrop trails around.
With a variety of trails across the county, you won’t be short of choice to catch sight of these short- lived flowers.
Walsingham Abbey is the host for one of the earliest opportunities to catch sight of the snowdrops, where the grounds of the abbey are transformed into 18 acres of these beautiful white blooms. The grounds are open daily from 10am-4pm from now until March 5th. £6 for adults, £2.50 children, under 6’s FREE.
Not to be missed, the stunning Bressingham Gardens also has a breath-taking display of tens of thousands of snow drops. You can follow the beautiful drifts of snowdrops throughout the gardens as part of the Snowdrop Bonzana between 11th February- 19th February. Speaking of breath taking, the beautiful Bressingham Lodge is only a short 8 minute drive from the gardens – check out this stunning Victorian home here!
